Huff
System One
The Huff
System One was designed to be the most tonally
accurate traditional box speaker available at any
price.
It uses the finest, most accurate piston drivers on
the planet.
These twin ceramic mid-woofers are the stiffest
made, adding virtually no coloration.
The ribbon tweeter has only a fraction of the mass
of traditional dome tweeters, and is
correspondingly faster, more detailed, with no
resonant peaks, or "ringing". The system exhibits
flat response out to above 35 K.
The D'Appolito configuration dramatically reduces
off axis lobing errors, providing the widest linear
off-axis response (i.e., sweet spot) possible. The
24dB crossover reduces phase error and out of band
driver anomalies.
The cabinet walls employ a constrained multi-layer
laminate damping technique (as do all our other
exotics). The cabinet shape, bracing, and other
details, too numerous to mention, all contribute to
the quality of the design.
Woofer and tweeter have integral protective grille,
so no external grille is necessary.
A speaker is more complex than the sum of even the
finest components. The design has been refined
throughout thousands of hours of critical listening
by our staff of engineers and musicians. But enough
talk. Listen to a pair of Huff loudspeakers today,
and hear for yourself.
